Network Support Engineer (regio Brussel - Noordrand)




As L2 Infrastructure team member you follow-up on tickets received from the internal L1 Service Desk.

You will test & troubleshoot network/system equipment & perform regular maintenance.

You’ll be at the very busy front-line, dealing directly with employees who have technical issues such as logon issues, Printing problems, general network problems,…

Other tasks include:

  • Detect & solve network/system traffic issues (configure firewalls, WAN connection troubleshooting,…)
  • Perform basic monitoring of LAN-connected systems eg.: servers, security devices,…
  • Patch cables in all the HQ offices
  • Configure & maintain the Cisco VoIP infrastructure
  • Configure e-mail accounts, shared mailboxes & shared folders
  • Analyze more complex IT problems (eg. : domain issues ) & transfer them to appropriate teams
  • Provide support for specific tools
