An IT Solution architect helps to determine architectural designs following the strategic goals set by the architecture team and the IT management for the various short-, mid- and long-term projects. This includes assisting on working out a vision and staying up to date on new architectural trends in the market. You must be able to define cost-effective options to solve architectural challenges, making correct, objective trade-offs, keeping the holistic application landscape and end goal in mind. As IT Solution Architect, you have a key function in being able to understand business needs and translate those into an architecture that fulfills those needs and can be used by the development & design teams to work on, having of course a collaborative mindset to work with the teams around you. We expect our IT Solutions Architect to already have experience with architecting solutions and being able to act as part of a team, while at the same time be proactive, independent and not afraid to take initiative when required.
