Functieomschrijving

Your main tasks are:

  • Test preparation 
    Every release changes and new products have to be tested. A test scenario has to be created to be sure relevant tests have been performed. The composition of the test scenarios are done in a close collaboration with analysts / developers.
  • Test execution
    Every release regression tests and tests on new functionalities / changes have to be performed in different test environments. Test are performed as a policy handler (Back Office), as an agent (Front Office) or as a customer.
  • Test scope
    Creation and adaptation of policies and linked documents. Mutations on migrated policies. Check if correct data is send to the application and if new information is available for the customer digitally.
  • Test reporting
    In order to follow up on test progression, the status of test scenarios are reported in tool (HpALM). Issues are reported in Jira.
  • Test automation
    In close collaboration with other testers and test coordinator test scenarios are selected to be automated.

Vereisten

Experience
and Skills

  • You have a degree in IT or have
    gained the equivalent through your experience. 
  • You have good knowledge of
    Dutch and French (for the documentation such as policies, functional doc and
    screens) and English (for the test tools)
  • You are experienced with
    functional documentation
  • You have the necessary soft
    skills to work in a team. You are also able to assist and coach more junior
    testers.
  • You are proactive and eager to
    learn, have good communication skills and can withstand stress. Working as part
    of a team as well as on your own and with an eye for detail is a must.
  • Having an insight into
    processes would definitely be a bonus.

 

Required
knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience
    in structured testing
  •  Experience with test tools
    (Test Management, Defect Management and Test Automation would be a bonus)
  • Knowledge of Test Methodologies
    (TMAP, ISTQB, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Jira and ALM HP.
  • Languages: Dutch/French & English
  • 3 - 8 years experience
